InnoDBStatus.comMySQL InnoDB Diagnostic Tool

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Data Processing — 100% Client-Side

When you paste your SHOW ENGINE INNODB STATUS output into InnoDBStatus.com, it is parsed entirely by JavaScript running locally in your browser. No diagnostic data is ever transmitted to any server. The tool functions as a static web application: your database internals stay on your machine.

What We Do Not Collect

  • No analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no pixels)
  • No cookies of any kind
  • No user accounts or registration
  • No persistent storage — browser localStorage is used only to keep your local analysis history, never sent anywhere
  • No third-party advertising or data brokers

Optional Share Feature

If you voluntarily use the Share button, a copy of your (optionally anonymized) status output is stored on our server for 30 days and accessible via a unique one-time link. You explicitly initiate this action by clicking Share — nothing is stored on our server otherwise. Shared payloads are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Server Infrastructure & Logs

The site is hosted on OVH shared hosting infrastructure in France (European Union). Standard Apache access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code) are retained for 30 days as required by French law (Loi pour la confiance dans l'économie numérique). These logs are not shared with third parties and are not used for profiling.

Contact Form

If you use our contact form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to us via email. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on this form; Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to that interaction. We retain contact messages only as long as needed to respond.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold about you (limited to contact form submissions and server logs). To exercise these rights, use our contact page.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be updated. Given the minimal data processing involved, changes are expected to be rare.
